It looks so good that it could be mistaken for real eel kabayaki. As the name UNAKAMA CHAN implies, the product itself is a kamaboko! The price is in the hundreds of yen per pack, so it is easy to buy.

The sauce is the same as that used for real eels, and even a small bag of sauce and sansho (Japanese pepper) is enclosed. The texture and flavour of the eel's unique skin and the way it is grilled have been reproduced down to the smallest details, and you will be amazed at the quality of the dish once you try it!
