Sesame dressing

Good for cold pork, BBQ, cold tofu, seafood, deep-fried food, etc., as well as vegetable salad.
[Ingredients] Edible vegetable oil, brewed vinegar, light brown sugar, soy sauce, egg yolk, sesame seeds (some ingredients contain wheat and soy)

Deep-fried Salmon With Colorful Vegetable Salad
With Sesame Dressing

Ingredients (serves 2–3)

2 salmon fillets
Salt, pepper, flour, beaten eggs, breadcrumbs
Vegetable oil
2 heads of mizuna (Japanese mustard green) for color
Bell peppers (red, yellow, orange)
Mushrooms, lemon
Pine nuts (a handful)
Sesame dressing

  1. Cut the salmon fillets into bite-size pieces. Season with salt and pepper, and then dip into the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  2. Coarsely chop the mizuna. Cut the bell peppers into long thin strips. Slice the mushrooms and add lemon juice.
    Roast the pine nuts in a dry skillet.
  3. Mix the colorful vegetables and neatly put them in the center of a plate.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil, and deep-fry the salmon fillets until golden brown. Remove excess oil and place the salmon around the vegetables. Garnish the vegetables with pine nuts.
   

* Serve with sesame dressing.
* A pinch of grated garlic can be added to the dressing, if desired.
