Strong in the Corona virus, Strong in the storm… We went on a study trip of our company!

Annual training trip, during the recommended period of the campaign, “GO TO Travel” in the mid of November, we went to Hakone, Mishima, Atami and Odawara.
There are arguments for and against going study trip in this difficult situation, however, we have carefully prepared for prevention of the virus as follows.

【Countermeasures for Corona Virus which our company took】
・Not to use public transportation, but use a large-chartered-bus(ventilate the bus all the time).
・Used 2 seats by one person and refrain from eating and drinking in the bus.
・Used portable disinfectant called “Air Doctor” and hand and mask disinfectant all the time.
・Always wore the mask except when taking pictures

【Day 1】
At the time of the meeting on the day of departure, it was a nice warm weather that we cannot think it is in November, but by the time we arrived at Owakudani in Hakone, it blew so strongly that we could hardly stand against the wind.
The guide lady also said that this bad weather is very rare.
Unfortunately, we could not see the magnificent scenery, but we are lucky if we think that eating the famous black egg has extended our life by 7 years! 

At the Mishima Skywalk, we crossed a suspension bridge with a height of 4,000m.
If the nice weather, we should have been able to see Mt. Fuji ... but we could not see anything.

The boys of the food dept challenged bouldering and everyone was very excited!

For lunch and dinner, we enjoyed delicious meals, including dishes using fish, which is typical of Shizuoka prefecture.
During the lunch and dinner, we did not forget taking the social distance and took a seat at a distance.

We usually handle fish in Toyosu market.
Eating fish dishes gives us knowledge and good sources of information to convey the deliciousness of fish caught in Japan to overseas customers.

【Day 2】

The second day was blessed with a nice weather, which was different from the previous day.

We Felt the history and formative arts at Kiunkaku,

At the MOA Museum of Art, we were exposed to modern and contemporary art from the antique art of the Edo period.




The study trip this year was taken with the restrictions of Corona virus, but there were a lot to learn.
We are looking forward to being able to go on a study trip energetically next year without the under the effect of the Corona virus.

【About our correspondence to Corona Virus】
At the end of November, we got a news of the corona cluster came out at the Toyosu market, so our Food dept underwent a voluntary PCR test, and all of us got negative results.
We usually pack and ship fresh fish at Toyosu Market four days a week.
We will always keep in mind a perfect system and deliver “Safe and secure” to our customers.
